How to wash knit sweaters?

1. Put cold water in the basin, add washing powder or neutral detergent.

2. Fold the sweater and put it in water, soak it for a while, about 15 minutes.

3. Then press hard for two or thirty times with your hands, and pass the water two to three times in the same way, add softener and soak for 15 minutes, and then pass the water.

4. After washing several times, put it in a cool and dry place. If you are in a hurry, you can also put the knit sweater in a laundry bag or roll up the sweater flat in the washing machine to activate the dehydration function. After spin-drying, take it out and place it flat in a cool place to dry.

5. When drying, if there are no conditions at home, you can also hang it on a hanger, put the sleeves on your shoulders, and use a hanger to hang the shirt. It should be noted that if the sweater is too heavy, it is best not to hang it, because it will stretch the sweater and affect its appearance.

Points to note when cleaning knitted sweaters:

1. Before washing, read the label on the knitted sweater carefully. If it can only be dry-cleaned, it must be sent for washing. If it can be washed with water, you should look at the wool material to choose an appropriate detergent to avoid damaging the wool.

2. Before washing the colored knitted sweater, you should cover it with a damp cloth or moisten a corner of the sweater to determine whether it will fade. If it will fade, it should be treated separately.

3. Pay attention to the water temperature for washing. Wool sweaters should be washed in cold water. Don’t let the temperature exceed 35 degrees Celsius, which will easily deform the clothes.

4. Do not use bleaching agents, which will fade and yellow the wool. For knit sweaters with fluff balls, you can use tape, scissors or a woolen machine to remove the hair balls.

5. Try not to wash knitted sweaters with a washing machine. The sweaters are easy to deform or shrink. If you must wash them with a washing machine, they should be folded and put into a laundry bag.
