Woolen sweaters are more expensive. How to clean and have it a better protection?
Step 1- Find a right cleaning utensil
The basin is a good one to wash sweaters by hand. Before washing, make sure the basin is clean. Also a clean plastic bathtub can be used.
Step 2- Regulate water temperature
Check the label on the sweater, a recommended water temperature is shown for washing. If there is no recommended water temperature, use cold water. No hot water is used, as shrinkage will be caused. Cold water is ideal to get detergent off from your sweater.
Step 3- Start cleaning
Fill the basin or bathtub with cold water and add a small amount of detergent, soak the sweater in it for about 10 minutes, then scrub to clean with your hands.
